There are two choices of camera system - wireless or wired.

The Wired Cedar Bird Box.

Wired system: The picture (video signal), sound (audio signal) and 8V DC power are sent through a 10m (32ft) A/V/DC cable, one end is connected to the bird box and the other end is connected to one of the TV’s AV channels or AV channel on a video recorder to allow recording of the pictures and sound.  The difference between the wired system and the wireless system is that the bird box on the wired system has a cable which physically connects the bird box to your TV/video.  The A/V/DC cable can be extended to well over 200m (650ft) by using additional 10m (32ft) A/V/DC extension cables (optional extra)

What is included for £129?

Wired system comes with:

• cedar bird box with installed wired B&W infrared camera with built in microphone

• regulated 8V DC power adapter for camera

• 10m (32ft) A/V/DC cable to connect the bird box to your TV / Video recorder (additional 10m extension cables available as an optional extra, these simply plug together to extend the cable as required) and a scart plug to 3 RCA connector.  Pictures can also be viewed on a computer using a suitable AV capture device

• setup and operating instructions

• delivery and VAT are also included in the price

In fact the only thing that's not included are the birds!!

Advantages of wired system:

• can be extended up to 60m (195ft) without the constraint of physical obstructions

• lower cost than the wireless system

Cedar bird box sizes:

The bird boxes are available with four different sizes of entrance hole.  Entrance holes of 25mm, 28mm, 32mm and 38mm are available to attract several different species of birds

	25mm (1 inch) hole designed to attract: Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Marsh Tit, Treecreeper, and very small birds.  £129 including delivery.
	28mm (1 1/8 inches) hole designed to attract: Tree Sparrows, Great Tits, and Crested Tit.  £129 including delivery.
	32mm (1 1/4 inch) hole designed to attract: Tree Sparrow, Great Tit, Crested Tit, Nuthatch and Pied Flycatcher.  £129 including delivery.
	38mm (1 1/2 inch) hole designed to attract: Redstarts. £129 including delivery.
