The camera operates on the "licence exempt" 2.4ghz 10mW frequency, which is CE compliant throughout the EU. The wireless system has an unobstructed transmission range of approximately 70m - 100m. Going through obstacles reduces the range, however as a general guide you should be able to transmit approximately 30 metres through a normal house wall. This camera is capable of producing a clear b&w image in total darkness using the built in infrared LEDs. The infrared light is invisible to animals and humans and does not disturb animals natural day/night cycles. Has a build in photo cell that turns on the 11 infrared LEDs at dusk and off at dawn.
